There’s honestly no such thing as too many cats, just a constantly expanding definition of what “full” looks like. Three feels like a lot until a fourth shows up and suddenly it just makes sense. They don’t take up space the way you think, they just fill it differently. Every new one somehow fits right in, like they were always part of the plan. At a certain point, you stop counting and just accept that there’s always room for one more.

Nobody really understands how the Cat Distribution System works. There’s no schedule, no logic, just the right cat showing up at the right time in the most random way. One minute it’s a normal day, the next there’s a kitten under a car changing everything. It makes zero sense, but somehow it always works out. At this point, everyone’s just glad it does.

Congrats on the newest member of the furmily! It always starts with “we definitely don’t need another cat,” and then suddenly they’re home and it just works. Give it a few days and he’ll be acting like he owns the place. Hope the rest of the crew warms up quickly and lets him join the chaos.
